Tequila Sunrise

Origin: Mexican

• Tequila - 50ml
• Triple Sec - 20ml
• Orange juice - 100ml
• Grenadine - 10ml
• Lemon juice - 15ml
• Ice - 1 handful
• Cherry (optional) - 1

1. Pour the grenadine into the bottom of the glass and set it aside.
2. Add the tequila, triple sec, fruit juice and ice to a shaker.
3. Shake until ice cold.
4. Add fresh ice to the glass.
5. Strain mixed drink into the glass.
6. Garnish with a slice of orange and a cherry.

• A maraschino cherry is the preferred type to use for this drink.
• The grenadine can be poured in last for the waterfall effect, as it still rests on the bottom due to its higher density.
• If the drink is not entirely full, just fill further with orange juice.
