Ingredients
- White rum - 25ml
- Soda water - 100ml
- Lime - 10ml
- Granulated sugar - 1tsp
- Mint - 2 handfuls
Recipe
- Muddle the lime juice, sugar and 1 handful of mint leaves together in a shaker using a cocktail muddler, the aim is to bash and grind the sugar into the mint.
- Add the shot of rum and a couple cubes of ice, then shake until the shaker is ice cold.
- Strain the mixture into an ice filled glass along with the other handful of mint leaves (unbashed), then fill to the top with soda water.
- Stir and garnish with mint leaf and a slice of lime on top to serve.
- Add more of whatever ingredient you need to suit your own taste.
- Add different fresh fruits and syrups to easily create flavoured mojitos (strawberry, pineapple etc.)
